  • Automatically measures resin curing time (gel time).
  • Provides highly reproducible and reliable measurement results.
  • Enables visual verification of hardening behavior from the time-torque characteristic graph.
  • Measures a wide range of materials, including:
Epoxy, silicone, urethane, phenol, and other prepregs, semiconductor sealant materials, adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, friction materials, sealants, coating, and others.

Features
Our stirring method with biaxial eccentricity can provide precise data correlated with JIS and IPC manual methods.
  • Automates gelation time A method for phenol resins (JIS K 6910: 2007)
  • Compliant with prepreg gel time measurement (IPC-TM-650 2.3.18 A)
Principles

1. The torque is measured while stirring your resin after placing that resin on the hot plate.
2. As the resin is thermal cured, the torque increases and the each thermosetting is plotted on a graph precisely.
3. A time exceeding an arbitrarily-set threshold is determined as the gel time.

Hot plate temperature
  • After turning on the power, the system is ready for measurement once the temperature stabilizes in five minutes
  • Temperature profile setting is available
  • The hot plate temperature can be set from room temperature to 300°C
